Breathing Space Yoga Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to me. This Privacy Statement explains how I collect, use, and store your personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

I’m Helen Wedgwood, a self-employed yoga teacher based in Scotland. You can contact me using this form or by email (helenwedgwood[at]hotmail.com) if you have any questions about how your data is used.

  • Phone number

This information is provided directly by you when you sign up for classes or updates about my yoga classes, workshops, or events.

I use your contact details solely to:

  • Contact you about changes and/or other important information relating to sessions you’ve signed up for;

  • Send you updates and related information about upcoming classes, workshops, and events.

4. How Your Information Is Stored

Your personal data is stored securely:

  • On my personal, password-protected device

  • In Google services such as Google Drive, which comply with GDPR and have appropriate security measures in place.

5. Sharing of Data

I do not share your personal information with any third parties. Your data is used only by me for the purposes stated above.

Note: If you opt-in to join my WhatsApp group, your phone number and profile name will be visible to everyone else in the group. That’s just how WhatsApp groups work – it's not a private broadcast list. By consenting to join the WhatsApp group, you are agreeing to share this info with other members who are part of this group. If you’re not comfortable with that, there is no pressure to join. Let me know if you would like me to send you any updates in other formats (e.g by email, or personal WhatsApp message).

6. How Long I Keep Your Data

I will keep your contact details for as long as you wish to receive updates from me. You can unsubscribe or ask for your data to be deleted at any time by contacting me.

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you

  • Correct any inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Withdraw your consent at any time.
